First and foremost we are asked by Jesus to serve Him and others. "Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically." ~ Romans 12:10-11. We can do this by getting involved in our church and our community. We are always looking for new ways to serve our community and share the love of Jesus with others.

Our lives are way too precious and important to God to spend it all on ourselves, yet it is not a harsh sense of obligation that compels us to action. The love we share for Jesus and others has an uncanny way of overflowing in our lives, shifting our priorities and how we spend our time and energy.
Serving others is an outward display of the change God has made in our hearts, loving our neighbour as ourselves in real and practical ways.
